2024: Breaking Stereotypes and Finding the Missing Piece
2024 felt like a long-overdue puzzle finally coming together. For years, I had been navigating my career and life with bits and pieces that didn’t seem to fit. But last year? Everything started clicking. It wasn’t just about making professional progress—it was about breaking personal stereotypes, both those placed on me and the ones I placed on myself.
I made peace with the idea of failing more often. Risk-taking had always been intimidating, but I learned to see it differently. Each mistake was less about stumbling and more about refining the big picture. That shift changed everything. I walked away from situations and people that no longer aligned with my values, created more space for things that mattered, and even finished reading an entire book (11 Rules of Life by Chetan Bhagat) (more on that later).
2024 wasn’t about finding answers—it was about asking the right questions. And those questions led me to the clarity I’ve been craving for years. Now, as I step into 2025, I feel more grounded than ever.
My Vision for 2025
1) Marketing: Doing Everything Differently
Let’s talk about how marketing is usually done: templates, cookie-cutter strategies, and sales pitches that get ignored more often than not. That’s not my style. I’ve always believed that marketing is at its best when it’s conversational, collaborative, and tailored to real problems—not when it’s loud and pushy.
Instead of the usual "let me sell you something," I’m focusing on let’s brainstorm together. This approach is all about starting meaningful conversations, not selling services. I’m crafting outreach that asks, “What’s keeping you up at night? Let’s talk about it.” It’s not about the hard sell; it’s about creating genuine value.
Of course, this approach might not land with everyone, and that’s okay. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that standing out often requires going against the grain. And that’s exactly where I feel most at home.
2) Networking: Trying New Experiences and Building New Relationships
Networking used to feel like a necessary evil—awkward meet-and-greets, LinkedIn messages that never went anywhere, and forced interactions that felt transactional. But last year, I realized I was doing it all wrong. Networking isn’t about what you can get from people—it’s about showing up with curiosity and generosity.
So, in 2025, I’m making networking an experience, not a task. I’m focusing on connecting with people who inspire me, challenge my thinking, or share a vision for doing things differently. Whether it’s over coffee, in a Zoom room, or at an event, I’m approaching each interaction with one goal: understanding how I can help first, without expecting anything in return.
I’m especially excited to connect with marketers and visionaries who work on high-ticket B2B projects and see the potential in taking risks. The goal isn’t to expand my network for the sake of numbers—it’s to find people who truly resonate with my way of thinking.
3) It’s My Time to Show Up
For years, I’ve been working behind the scenes, contributing to projects, and quietly solving problems. This year, I’m stepping into a more visible role—not as a company or a brand, but as myself.
I’ve put a lot of thought into how I want to show up. My branding this year is centered around optimism, energy, and fresh connections, symbolized by an orange gradient. For me, it’s more than just a design choice. It’s a way of saying, “This is how I see the world, and this is the energy I want to bring to the table.”
Confidence has always been a funny thing for me. People often tell me I seem confident, even when I’m second-guessing myself internally. This year, I’m working on believing that feedback and letting go of the need to overthink. Instead of focusing on what I might lack, I’m leaning into what I know I bring to the table: curiosity, creativity, and a drive to connect vision to revenue.
4) Reading More Books (and Diving Deeper Into Strategy)
I’ve always loved the idea of reading, but I’d usually stop halfway through a book because life got in the way. That changed in 2024 when I finished reading my first full book in years. And it reminded me how much I’ve been missing out.
This year, I’m doubling down on reading—not just for fun but to sharpen my perspective. I’ve already started with Breakthrough Marketing Plans, and it’s been eye-opening. My reading list is focused on deeper insights, not surface-level advice. It’s about learning strategies that actually make a difference, not just buzzwords and trends.
Beyond books, I want to learn directly from people. Collaborating with industry leaders, brainstorming with peers, and dissecting what works and what doesn’t—that’s where the real learning happens.
Vision + Revenue: My True North
What I do boils down to one thing: helping companies turn their big ideas into measurable outcomes. It’s not about adding layers of complexity—it’s about simplifying the process, aligning it with their vision, and making it work in the real world.
I’m drawn to organizations that are passionate about what they do, companies with a clear sense of purpose. My role is to bring a fresh perspective, connect their vision to revenue, and create strategies that resonate with their audience.
2025: Like How the Big Bang Led to a Fresh Start
This year feels different. It’s not about chasing big wins or quick success—it’s about building something meaningful. For the first time, I’ve cleared the distractions, focused my energy, and committed to doing things my way.
I don’t know exactly how the year will unfold, and that’s part of the excitement. But what I do know is that I’m stepping into 2025 with clarity, optimism, and a renewed sense of purpose. It’s time to see where this journey takes me.
